Carmen Leggio can grab an alto or tenor saxophone and generate hard bop jazz or smooth silky melodies. His career has included extensive work as a studio musician in New York City as well as work with many big names, including Terry Gibbs, Benny Goodman, Maynard Ferguson, and Woody Herman. He has recorded several of his own albums over the years, including this one, which finds him in the mood for great music.
