Art of Healing Collection

The Art of Healing Collection II is composed of artworks created by nineteen world-renowned artists for the benefit of Doctors of the World. It was inaugurated at their Annual Benefit Dinner on November 12th, 2002.

All proceeds from art sales will benefit Doctors of the World’s programs.

Since 1990, Doctors of the World has worked to make health a human right in the United States and more than 25 other countries. Doctors of the World deploys American medical professionals as volunteers who work together with local staff to provide clinical services, training, and advocacy. They currently work in Kosovo, Mexico, Cuba, El Salvador, Russia, South Africa Thailand, Vietnam and the United States to create more equitable access to health care and improved quality of life for disadvantaged populations such as refugees, street children, and torture survivors. With their commitment to bearing witness to human rights violations where health is at stake, they deliver medical care that enhances respect for human dignity.
